§ Mr. Anthony GrantThe Government have no plans for special assistance to individual industries in the West Riding. The Government's proposed investment incentives should improve employment prospects generally in the area, and I shall continue to operate a flexible i.d.c. policy to allow reasonable expansion by existing manufacturing firms and suitable new projects with close ties to the area.
