asked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his policy on comprehensive schools; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science announced the Government's policy on comprehensive schools in Circular 10/70. I intend to continue implementing this policy in Wales.
