asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why 2,268,000 yards of drill was ordered by the Prison Department to be delivered over a three-year period; and what garments it was to be made into for hospital protective clothing.

To ensure continuity in the supply of materials. The garments to be manufactured are at present coats, trousers and overalls.
