§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will make a statement on the correspondence he has received from the National Health Service Executive Council for North-East London concerning the failure of the Government to give a definite date for the implementation of his Department's undertaking concerning the starting date for the Adolescent Unit at Goodmayes Hospital.
§ Mr. AlisonThe North-East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board has accorded high priority to the provision of this unit and I understand it expects to start construction as planned early in the next financial year.
