§ 64. Sir E. Bullusasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on Anglo-Chinese relations, following the recent celebrations by the Chinese of the 21st anniversary of the Communist revolution.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleOur relations with China are showing some improvement. In view of this I was asked by my right hon. Friend to attend the Chinese National Day reception in London. We should like to see a further improvement in relations, but the continued detention of British subjects in China is a serious obstacle.
