§ Mr. Brooksasked the Minister of Technology if he will refer motor repair charges to the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
Mr. Bean:Yes. Work following the previous N.B.P.I. Report has been going on, involving my Department, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and the Motor Agents Association, and I am expecting a statement of progress next week. My right. hon. Friend the First Secretary of State and the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity and I will now be referring the matter to the N.B.P.I., and the terms of reference will be discussed with the industry.
