§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the aggregate value of moneys advanced in loans and grants of all kinds, either 657W directly by the Government or through bodies such as the Industrial Reorganisation Corporation and the Shipbuilding Industry Board, to corporate bodies in the United Kingdom during the last period of 12 months for which figures are available; and what has been the aggregate cost to public funds of such grants and of preferential rates of interest involved in loans.
