§ Mr. Onslowasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why tax tables expressed in terms of decimal currency are not yet available.
§ Mr. Taverne:The new P.A.Y.E. tax tables made necessary by the Budget changes will be in dual currency form, that is, they will show amounts in both decimal currency and the old currency. These tables will be distributed shortly, and will be used from 6th July onwards.
