§ Mr. John Fraserasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when 506W approval was given by him to the rebuilding of Norwood Girls' School; and when rebuilding will be completed.
§ Miss Bacon:A first-stage instalment of a five-form entry comprehensive school plus 180 sixth form at Crown Dale of an ultimate eight-form entry school was included in the 1967–68 major building programme. Building work started in May, 1968 and is due to be completed in November. The authority intends to use the new and existing buildings as an eight-form entry school until the existing premises can be replaced.
