HC Deb 15 May 1970 vol 801 c411W
Dr. Winstanley

asked the Minister of Public Building and Works how many showers, baths, wash basins, urinals and water closets are available within the precincts of the Palace of Westminster for use by the police.

Mr. John Silkin:

I am advised by the authorities of the Palace of Westminster that shower and bath facilites are not provided for the police within the precincts. All lavatory accommodation generally available to the staff or public may be used by the police, and in addition there are a number of wash basins in police rooms.
