HC Deb 15 May 1970 vol 801 c388W
Mr. Eldon Griffiths

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department on how many occasions the Police Advisory Board has met in the respective calendar years since it was set up; why there has been so long an interval since its last meeting; and when he next expects to call the board together.

Mr. Elystan Morgan:

The board first met in 1966 and met three times in that year, four times in 1967, once in 1968 and once in 1969. I expect it to meet again in July. In addition, the board appoints working parties to examine particular problems, and much work is carried forward between meetings by this means.
