HC Deb 15 May 1970 vol 801 c392W
Mr. Robert Howarth

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, in view of the distress caused to relations by such cases, he will refer the action of a publishing company, whose name has been sent to him, which has sent offensive material through the post addressed to the husband of a constituent of the hon. Member for Bolton, East, although he died two and a half years ago, to the Committee on Privacy with a request for an interim report.

Mr. Merlyn Rees:

Details of complaints of this kind shall be included in the Home Office evidence to the Committee on Privacy. The submission of an interim report is a matter for the committee itself.
