HC Deb 15 May 1970 vol 801 c373W
Mr. Chichester-Clark

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what steps he is taking to offset the high cost of feedingstuffs imported into Northern Ireland.

Mr. Cledwyn Hughes:

I have at present nothing to add to what has already been said. As my right hon. Friend mentioned in reply to a Question from the hon. Member for Fermanagh and South Tyrone (Lord Hamilton) on 13th May, the disparity between the cost of feedingstuffs in Great Britain and Northern Ireland appears to be narrowing.—[Vol. 801, c. 1223–4.]
