HC Deb 15 May 1970 vol 801 c373W
Mr. Bessell

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proposals he has for giving additional assistance to farmers with less than 50 acres of arable land in Cornwall.

Mr. Cledwyn Hughes:

The full range of agricultural grants and subsidies and the assistance of the advisory services are available to any farm business providing a full-time livelihood. I have no proposals for changing these arrangements. The new grants which this Government have introduced to encourage co-operation can be of particular help to small farmers.
