§ Mr. Lomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what details have been submitted to him concerning the practice of over-prescribing by doctors.
§ Mr. Crossman:The prescribing of all Health Service general practitioners is analysed once a year as a matter of routine and special investigations are made where there is evidence to suggest that a doctor may be over-prescribing.
