34. Mr. Hunt

asked the Minister of Transport when he expects to receive firm proposals from the Railways Board following the examination by the Greater London Transport Group of schemes for the improvement of the approaches to London Bridge and Victoria stations.

Mr. Murray:

The Railways Board tells me that it hopes to submit proposals later this year for the first stage of work on the approaches to London Bridge, and next year for work on the Victoria approaches.
