§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the Minister of Technology how many industrial development certificates have been granted for firms wishing to move from the West Midlands conurbation during the last convenient period of six months, to Telford and to Daventry, respectively; and how many applications are pending for these two places and for other overspill towns in the area, respectively.
§ Mr. Varley:During the six months from 1st October, 1969, to 31st March, 1970, the number of industrial development certificates approved for firms wishing to move from the West Midlands conurbation to Telford and Daventry were two and nil respectively. As regards the last part of the Question, figures of applications pending are not collected.
