§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister whether he has considered the communication sent to him by the Pakistani Association of Newham, regarding increasing racial discrimination, violence and lawlessness; what other representations were made in this communication; and what was the nature of his reply.
§ The Prime Minister:I received a copy of a resolution passed on 26th April at a meeting of the Commonwealth Welfare Association and certain other associations, including the Pakistani Association of Newham. This has been passed to the Home Office, which also received a copy of the resolution.
