HC Deb 07 May 1970 vol 801 cc184-5W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether, during his next Ministerial broadcast he will set out Government policy in relation to house-building, pensions and social security benefits, selective employment tax, taxation in general and Government expenditure.

The Prime Minister:

Unless and until I make a statement to the contrary, the House should assume that I have no plans to make a Ministerial broadcast. I could not in any case give details in advance about the content of Ministerial broadcasts which might be arranged in the future; still less could I forecast what questions would be put in interview broadcasts.
