§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that outside many Metropolitan police stations vehicles are illegally parked each day, without a road fund licence and without road test certificates; and if he will instruct the policemen manning these stations to report these offenders to the appropriate authorities.
§ Mr. Elystan Morgan:My right hon. Friend has no authority to issue such instructions, but knows that proper arrangements have been made for reporting apparently unlicensed vehicles to the appropriate authorities, and for dealing with cases that come to notice of vehicles being used without road test certificates.
