§ Mr. Tom Boardmanasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will state the number of applications for improvement grants approved and the amounts of the grants paid by the City of Leicester in the period from 25th August, 1969, to the end of that year.
§ Mr. Freeson:Information is obtained monthly from local authorities. The number of grants approved for private owners from 1st September to 31st December, 1969, was 194. The amount of grants paid during the same period was £24,405, but these do not relate directly to the number of grants approved.
