Mr. Roy Hughes

asked the Attorney-General if he has now received the report from the statutory committee which prescribes solicitors' remuneration, on the detailed proposals giving effect to the recommendation on the fees for conveyancing, as contained in the Report of the National Board for Prices and Incomes. Command Paper No. 4217; and if he will make a statement.

The Attorney-General:

The Statutory Committee will consider the proposals of the National Board for Prices and Incomes on the remuneration of solicitors in conveyancing business at a meeting to be held in the early part of June.
