HC Deb 05 May 1970 vol 801 c76W
84. Mr. Probert

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps are being taken by his Department to improve the national facilities for Rugby Union in Wales; and what grant is being given by the Government for that purpose.

Mr. Denis Howell:

The Government have offered a grant of £33,000 towards the cost of improving changing accommodation and the provision of undersoil heating for the pitch at Cardiff Arms Park, and, of course, grant for administration and coaching continues to be given annually to the Welsh governing bodies of sport, including the Welsh Rugby Union.
