asked the Minister of Transport what efforts are being made by the United Kingdom Government to secure international agreement on vehicle safety, noise, and pollution control.

Mr. Bob Brown:

The Government are participating fully in the work of an Economic Commission for Europe Working Party which draws up standards covering all aspects of vehicle construction.
