80. Mr. Roy Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many working days were lost in Wales in each six-monthly period from January, 1968, to December, 1969, due to industrial disputes; and what were the comparable figures for days lost due to sickness.

Statistics of stoppages of work due to industrial disputes in Wales are compiled only for calendar years. Statistics of sickness are for years ending at the beginning of June. Following is the information available:
