HC Deb 04 May 1970 vol 801 cc32-3W
Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many individual complaints he has received in the last 12 months regarding the operation of income tax centre No. 1 at East Kilbride; and what steps he is taking to improve the situation.

Mr. Taverne:

I would refer the hon. Member to the Answer I gave him on 15th December, 1969. The position at East Kilbride is kept under constant review and I am confident that taxpayers in Scotland will have every reason to be satisfied with the standard of service provided by the Centre now that it is fully set up.—[Vol. 793, c. 236.]
