§ Mr. Snowasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he is aware of the situation whereby pupils attending St. Joseph's School, Lichfield, are arriving up to an hour late; and if he will give a direction under Section 68 of the Education Act, 1944, to the Staffordshire Local Education Authority in the matter of contractual terms governing the punctuality and reliability of services provided by school bus operators.
§ Mr. Edward ShortThis is a matter for the local education authority who are, I understand, trying to overcome some current difficulties. I see no grounds on which I could intervene.
