§ Mr. Goldingasked the Minister of Transport whether sanction will be granted to include the inner ring road project between Liverpool Road and Nelson Place, Newcastle-under-Lyme, in the firm programme for 1971–72.
Mr. Bob Brown:This scheme has already been included in the preparation list and will be considered for a place in the firm programme as soon as preparation by the highway authority, the Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, is satisfactorily completed and funds are available.
