HC Deb 26 March 1970 vol 798 cc468-9W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity whether she is aware that the decision of the Confederation of British Industry to refuse to submit details of price increases to the Government will conflict with the Government's wages, prices and incomes policy; and whether she will seek a meeting with the confederation to discuss these matters.

Mr. Dell

I discussed the matter with the C.B.I. yesterday and stressed that the Government attached great importance to adequate advance notification of price increases.
