§ 59. Mr. Godberasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he expects to receive the report of the Committee on Rabies in Dogs; and if he will 421W issue advice to Servicemen and others returning to this country on the question of the importation of dogs and cats.
§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesI cannot say at this stage when the Committee will report but it will be very much aware of the urgency of this enquiry. We have advised the Ministry of Defence, shipping and airlines and other organisations concerned of the arrangements for the ban on the importation of canines and felines.
