HC Deb 24 March 1970 vol 798 c386W
Mr. Buchanan-Smith

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much money he has authorised for local authority mortgages in Scotland in 1970–71.

Mr. Ross

As my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government said on Wednesday, 18th March, we have decided to increase the total for England, Scotland and Wales to about £155 million, that is by about one-half. The increases for individual local authorities have yet to be considered with them.—[Vol. 798, c.406.]
