HC Deb 24 March 1970 vol 798 cc386-7W
Mr. Buchanan-Smith

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much money was paid by the Housing Corporation to housing societies in Scotland in 1969; and how much will be available for housing societies in 1970.

Mr. Ross

In 1969, £665,892 was advanced by the Housing Corporation to housing societies in Scotland.

The Corporation itself determines the distribution of the money allocated to it between housing societies in different parts of the country, and the Government are enabling the Corporation to commit an additional £l0 million in 1970–71.
