asked the Minister of Technology what estimate he has now made for 1970 and 1971 of the effects of strikes on United States and British investment in the motor industry of the United Kingdom.

The investment intentions of United Kingdom motor manufacturers will be influenced by a number of factors, including labour relations in the industry. It is not possible to estimate separately the effect of strikes on their decisions.
