asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will give figures for imports of crude steel in 1968 and 1969, respectively; and if he will give an estimate for the level of imports this year.

In 1968 and 1969 respectively, 1.9 and 2.1 million tons, including semi-finished and finished steel. I prefer not to venture an estimate for 1970.
