§ Mr. Croninasked the Secretary of State for Defence why he intends to issue a Press release to the effect that a party of eight Members of Parliament and two peers who have been selected through the usual parliamentary channels to visit the British Forces in Germany are making this visit in a private capacity.
§ Mr. HattersleyThe Press release will be made in Germany to announce the visit and at the same time make it plain that the party does not represent my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence and has not been despatched by authority of Parliament in the execution of its business.
