(3) how many persons were prosecuted for being in illegal possession of cocaine in 1969; and how many such persons were juveniles;
(4) how many persons were prosecuted for being in illegal possession of the drug lysergic acid diethylamide in 1969; and how many such persons were juveniles.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganSuch information as is readily available for 1969 is not precisely in the form requested, and relates only to the first six months. During that period, the provisional number of charges of unlawful possession of heroin dealt with in England and Wales was eighty-eight; of these, one related to a juvenile. The corresponding respective figures for unlawful possession of cannabis were 1,783 and 23; for unlawful possession of cocaine eighteen and one; and for unlawful possession of lysergic acid diethylamide thirty and nil.
