HC Deb 16 March 1970 vol 798 c60W
Mr. R. C. Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what plans he has for enabling the improvement of facilities at Shirley Junior School, Southampton, in view of the concern of parents.

Miss Bacon

I understand that the Southampton local education authority intend to make some improvements at Shirley Junior School in 1970–71 and that they will be considering a further project for the following year. When the school becomes a middle school this September it will have the use of practical facilities at the former Western Secondary School.
