HC Deb 16 March 1970 vol 798 cc49-50W
106. Mr. Gordon Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will institute a review of the law relating to life sentences for murder in Scotland in the light of the recent decision of Parliament to make permanent the statutory provisions abolishing the death penalty.

Mr. Ross

If the hon. Member has arguments to deploy for a change in this area, I am very ready to consider them.
