HC Deb 16 March 1970 vol 798 c16W
90. Mr. Willey

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the present establishment for hospital pharmacists in the Newcastle Regional Hospital Board Area; how many posts are at present vacant; and what were the corresponding figures for 1967.

Dr. John Dunwoody

There are no centrally fixed establishments for hospital pharmacists but in terms of whole-time equivalents the staffing complement of hospitals in the Newcastle Region, is 89 compared with 85 in 1967, and the number of vacancies is 18, as it was also in 1967.
