Mr. David Mitchell

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government when he expects to tender his advice to the Secretary of State for Social Services on the proposal by the Wessex Regional Hospital Board for extensions to the Andover Hospital, which are currently held up because of planning objections.

Mr. Greenwood

I am arranging for a hearing to be conducted by one of the Department's Inspectors. I will tender my advice as soon as possible thereafter.
