§ Miss BaconAllocations already made to Gateshead for starts in 1971–72 total £64,900—£26,400 in the special pro-370W years, from 10 years to 20 years, and more than 20 years, respectively.
§ Miss BaconFollowing are the numbers of special schools in each category:
gramme to provide extra accommodation for raising the school leaving age and £38,500 for minor works. These figures include the increases which I announced on 2nd March. We hope to announce soon after Easter the projects selected for inclusion in the 1971–72 improvement programme, for which the Gateshead authority has proposed the replacement of two old primary schools.
