§ Mr. RossNo new schools were completed but the total approved cost of alterations and extensions to existing schools 283W was £134,700. My Department make no direct financial contribution towards local authorities' capital expenditure on educational building. Central Government assistance for revenue expenditure, including loan charges, is given through the rate support grant.
