HC Deb 04 March 1970 vol 797 cc120-1W
Mr. Ian Lloyd

asked the Lord President of the Council what criteria are employed to exclude particular non-Parliamentary Her Majesty's Stationery Office publications from the green form demand procedure.

Mr. Peart

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to him by my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary to the Treasury on 20th December, 1966. —[Vol. 738, c.253.]

Mr. Ian Lloyd

asked the Lord President of the Council whether he will arrange for the Services Committee to review cases in which Members have been refused official publications, required for the discharge of their Parliamentary duties, when requested on a green form.

Mr. Peart

Any representations by Members about such decisions are sympathetically considered by the Stationery Office or by the responsible Minister. If, however, there were evidence of a general wish amongst Members for the rules set out on the form to be reviewed, I would certainly ask the Services Committee to do so.
