asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government on what dates has he or the Parliamentary Secretary visited Stockport since October, 1964; and what was the purpose of such visits.

Mr. Greenwood

On 3rd February, 1968 I attended a regional local government conference at Stockport. On 1st May, 1968 I visited the town by invitation to view recent housing developments and to open the thousandth Rowcon industrialised house. On 5th February, 1970 my hon. Friend the Joint Parliamentary Secretary visited Stockport to discuss the council's housing programme.
