My right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales and I are greatly obliged to the working party for its report and we should like to add our thanks to those of my predecessor to the chairman for her work.
We shall now consult the associations of local authorities, river authorities and other bodies on the recommendations in the report and record our conclusions on them as soon as we can. I can say at once that we are in broad sympathy with the working party's objectives.
