§ 30. Mr. Eadieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from education authorities in relation to the financial provisions for school building in 1970; and what consideration he has given to authorities that have new towns in their area.
Mr. Edward M. TaylorA number of education authorities have asked my right hon. Friend's Department for increases in the school building allocations notified to them in April, 1970. As regards the second part of the Question, due allowance has been made for the needs of new towns in deciding the distribution of the available capital investment.
