§ 65. Mr. Gregor Mackenzieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action he proposes to take to protect tenants of houses owned by a company, the name of which has been sent to him, from excessive rent increases.
§ Mr. YoungerThe tenants are already protected by the Rent Acts. Any rent increase under the Housing (Scotland) Act, 1969, will be phased over five years.
