§ 46. Mr. Lawsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what consultations he has had with representatives of the British Medical Association in Scotland on their pay dispute and on their action in refusing to sign sickness notes and to serve on the various administrative committees of the National Health Service.

Friend the Secretary of State 53W for Social Services, acting on behalf of all three Health Ministers, saw representatives of the British Medical Association and British Dental Association on 26th June and the professions have now resumed co-operation in the administration of the National Health Service and in signing medical certificates.
