HC Deb 07 July 1970 vol 803 cc28-9W
Mr. Leslie Huckfield

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is his policy on the question of extradition of foreign nationals accused or indicted of acts of air terrorism or hi-jacking involving British aircraft or committed on British soil.

Mr. Carlisle

Any such acts constituting offences under the laws of the United Kingdom would be triable in this country, and requisitions for extradition in respect of such acts would be considered in the light of that situation and of our treaty arrangements.
