Mr. Bob BrownIt is provisionally estimated that there were 57,240 licensed motor vehicles in the third quarter of 1969 compared with 57,600 in 1968. £964,271 was collected in licence duty in the financial year, 1967–68 and £1,427,905 in 1968–69; refunds of licence duly in the same periods were £34,735 and £51,953.
